    Evening All,

I have invested in a portable Harddrive which I want to store all pics , videos and music.
I want to have itunes installed on both PC and laptop with all the music stored on the portable harddrive.
Is this possible and if so how is it done
Can I just copy the itunes folder onto the harddrive and change the storage settings in itunes?
    Thanks

I use Windows Media Player to rip cds which I've set to save in a specific folder on my external hard drive. I then import the music manually into whichever media player I'm using - I recently switched from iTunes to Winamp. iTunes shouldn't have any trouble in accessing the files from your portable hard drive if that's what you mean. Same applies to videos.

yep, its possible. i have it done.
just load all your music onto your HD and as you say give iTunes the path where the music is stored.
