belkin adsl modem router (tearing my hair out)

    I got my new DSL+2 Modem with high speed Wireless G Router today. Works a charm (or not)

    It wont let me go to some sites like hotmail or komplett (go figure cos I bought it from there) (its the 125Mpbs one)

    It wont let me sign into Windows Live Messenger.

    Its kind of annoying now. Anyone know anything about this?

    Please help before I go insane!

    Is the connection always there? You could be falling in and out of range if your computer is far away from the router. Have you the latest drivers installed?

    There could be some ports been blocked by firewall or ISP or something but that is unlikely (you should be able to access Komplett if your ISP block ports or Firewall is blocking ports).

    This was happening when it was wired to the router.

    I had another look on google and it seems to be the MTU setting raange. Seems to be a bit of a common problem so i am hoping that changing the range will work.
