Looking to get an instruction booklet on how this machine was built.

Have a broken one in the office and dell havent collected it yet so I'm gona have one last bash at fixing it but dont have much experience fixing computers.

Also is there any known problems with this machine? Might be a good place to start.

Or, rather more obviously, on the dell website

I rang Dell yesterday and they said they didnt give out that kind of information as it voids your warranty hence why I didnt check the Dell web site.

    Thanks for the link irlrobins

What exactly is wrong with it?

I doubt a manual on how it was built is going to help out in any way really.

Opening up your Dell system does not void your warranty by the way either.

I dont know what is wrong with it. One day it was working fine. Next day nothing. There was no sign of it breaking down except when it crashed on the user. It was about 5 days old when this happened so I was wondering if there was a screw or wire lose or some such thing.

I was thinking of taking it apart and putting it back piece by piece and checking each component.

The older versions of those machines had a well known issue with the capacitors....in summary they were crap! They constantly blew out and noted a lot of our customers who had bought them noticed faults.

Lucky for us that they had taken out extended warrantys on these little gits, otherwise we would be footing the cost to replace them....again and again. :D
