    The Sugar Club, Leeson Street
    Thursday 23rd November
    Doors 11pm – 3am

On the 23rd of November, The Sugar Club plays host to Dublin’s newest and freshest student night, Kettle. Kettle mixes all genres of music, while incorporating student led visuals. It kicks off at 11pm where Hip-hop battles it out with electro. On the hip-hop side we have the ever-popular four-time Irish DMC champion Tu-Ki and fast rising to fame, Fonetik. And holding it down for team electro with his unique mix of dirty, quirky beats we have Skkatter and newcomer Hugo Johnson. Five euro in before twelve and eight after, alongside 3-euro bottles of Corona and 3-euro seabreeze cocktails will ensure this is a quality night out for all students.

Kettle originates from a need for something different on the Dublin student night scene. Most clubs tend to be of the opinion that all students like the same music that is represented in the charts. Kettle understands that many students have diverse and alternative tastes in music. And while they are catered for in certain places, there is not a student night dedicated to them. This is what Kettle, at its essence is, a student night that provides diverse and original live music by Ireland’s best dj’s and musicians alongside creative visuals. A night aimed at the students of the creative and visual arts, but by no means exclusive to them.
