I dont get why Nintendo are releasing it on the gamecube as well? Surely its better to use such a big title to encourage people onto the new console?

They kind of have to, because they promised about a year ago that the game would launch on the GC and wouldn't be put off until the next console.

Great reviews though.... can't wait for this. Kinda strange how a 9 dungeon game translates to 60+ hours of gameplay.

Sounds good so far at least. Will there be need for pre-ordering it do ye think. Have my Wii pre-ordered already but I figured there'd be more units of software than hardware available so pre-ordering would be unnecessary.

im going to take a guess at every wii sent to a shop they will get a copy of zelda to sell with it. Ill be very suprised if out of about 200 pre orders in game dawson st we sell 10 wiis without zelda.

Well I'd hope most people... I'm really excited about the Wii, but I've been holding back a little because I wanted to see what the reviews are like.

This may seem like heresy, but I've never been a huge zelda fan (not because I don't like the game, but because I've never given it much time)... so had I gone in and gotten a wii Zelda may not have been on the top of my list (and I wouldn't have been all that bother had the shop been sold out of it) but now it seems to be a must have, and I probably will be pissed off if I don't get a copy of it.

I think i was being a bit simplistic. My real problem is with the massive spoiler ridden, step by step articles that are poping up everywhere. ive been a big fan since Ocarina of Time and all i needed to hear was that this is just as good, if not better than that game.

Although im also the kind of gamer who avoids spoilers like to plague

When I came back from the RDS I thought it had made waiting easier and I wasn't so hyped after I had gotten my fix. But now it's back up to normal levels again.
