partypoker upgrade - first impressions aren't gr8!

Once again partypoker decide to change their software!
Now they have the city u reside in instead of country once again. Can't seem to make up their mind on that 1!
I'm getting awful lag on it now also. They must be trying to emulate tribeca .
Also pahud no longer detects party poker.

They have also removed the no player chat option - which is f'in annoying as u can't view peoples past plays anymore in the chat window - have to open up hand histories instead.

I notice they have also made some changes in the folders, they have a language and an articles folder - don't think they were there b4 this upgrade.

Hmmm anyway just wanted a grumble and 2 c what others thought.

havent seen the changes yet but doesnt sound great

I always detested Party Poker, it was always utter ****e in my opinion, but the population always helped for juicy cash games, now they don't have a population.

Edit: nm you cant fix it till PAHud relese a patch.

utter ****e might b a bit extreme imo but i do relate 2 da sentiment... i could go on and on about my gripes but i'll leave it 4 now, basically da main thing party had going 4 it was the # players, they no longer have the population - well they defo ain't # uno anymore - that's pokerstars but 2 b fair they r still a major player, they r close with full-tilt for 2nd place. And some of these latest software changes look like a precursor for a multi-lingual site, clearly they r developing a new strategy to gather players from around da world but probably mostly europe - i 4 one have noticed more and more russians and 2 a lesser extent germans playing there lately - i wonder is there a big advertising drive going on in da likes of russia, ukraine, germany, austria etc. so these lot love em or loathe em r resourceful.

and 4 me personally da bottom line i do well there above anywhere else. so that has always kept me there

In the last few months more and more poker is appearing on german tv (and therefore in austria too). POker is definitely in a boom here. Our Monday tournament here used to be 4 tables max. Since July it's sold out at 87 every week. People are even coming from germany for it (minimum 1 hour away) every week.

I noticed the Russians too but I think that's because with so many yanks gone there's less tables and you'll notice the 'others' more.
