Manipulating news pics

    I see that the American version of Marie Claire magazine has published false pics of a well known news anchor woman breast feeding in studio. Apparently the anchor woman gave an interview to the publication but didnt authorise the false pics. This seems to be coming more and more popular in magazines more so than newspapers. Does anyone know of any other well known news pics that have been photoshopped. Post link as soon as i get one.

    There was a mild ruckus over the summer during the Israel/Hezbullah dispute over a few of the photographs having been photoshopped. I can think of at least two offhand, one where the amount of smoke was artificially enhanced, and one where an Israeli jet is picture dropping three flares instead of just one. In both cases the photographer was blacklisted by the photo agencies.

    It happens from time to time, there was a fair debate over in Politics back then about the ethics of photoshopping and staging of photographs.
