    Hi guys

Did any of you catch the final this weekend just gone by?

I was wondering what you thought of the judges scoring of the Lytle vs. Serra fight. I must admit, I'm no MMA veteran or judge, but I thought that the match was either a draw or a Lytle win at the end of the third round.

Matt's a really deserving winner, don't get me wrong. From the first episode of the series he was my favourite to win the title. I obviously just didn't see the same fight that the judges saw. Judging by the live audience I'd say they didn't either. Matt is a BJJ black belt, but all the way through the series he seemed to have great difficulty in taking his opponents to the ground. I know he's only 5"6 which is counting against him. Lytle had a great sprawl through the whole match. I'm just surprised that Chris didn't stick to his staple by creating distance and keeping the match on his feet. He has a major advantage over Serra in the striking game.

The Scott Smith vs. Peter Sell was a great fight. It's great to see two guys beating the crap out of each other and smiling all the way.

    Cheers
    Mike

It was very much a stalemate, Matt got the decision because he was controlling in the clinch moreso than and pushing the fight while Lytle did body shots he wasn't trying to finish the fight and only looking to nullify and thats why he lost.
