I'mthinking of going to France next year for Summer Hols. Was thinking of 3/4 days in Eurodisney and then on to a capmsite somewhere down south. Has anyone ever done this with 2 adults and two kids?

What exactly do you want to know? There are several threads in here about camping in France.

Was wondering what's best to do...

a package deal or book all seperate myself
any reasonable hotels to stay at for eurodisney
a good resort to travel to for the remaining 9/10 days.
is it possible to book a campsite midweek
    Car hire
    Airports to fly to/from etc

    plus a thousand other things!!

Taking the g/f to eurodisney this weekend, staying at a place called hotel du moulin just outside eurodisney, supposedly its only 3 mins away. Very reasonable price. Can give you feedback when I return if you like ?

2 days in Eurodisney is loads, it's not that big. I stayed in Bussy St. George and got the train to Eurodisney, it's a nice quiet town that I would recommend.

    Just back yesterday,
Stayed in Hotel Moulin Du Paris, very reasonable prices (~€150 2 people, sharing, 3 nights). The hotel is 3 minutes bus ride away from the park itself (#34 "Chessy Gare") and as always with paris busses are frequent and on time. THe rooms themselves are small enough and basic but for the price paid I was pleasently surprised with them. There was a continental breakfast included in the price but it was crap so we only had that one morning. All the staff speak perfect english and were very helpful with anything we needed. THe rooms were cleaned well and regularly. There was also a small bar in the hotel which ran out of stock very quickly. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet considering the amount of people around the area. There are no other bars close by is the only drawback but if your travelling to the park with kids then I would gladly recomment this hotel.

    Hope this helps.

We spent 2 weeks near the Alps and a few days in Paris with Keycamp a few years back. The campsite near Paris was on the Seine a fe miles from the city centre. The metro was only a few minutes walk and is on the same line a Eurodisney. Would recommend it.

On another thread a few months back someone compared the Irish Vs English Keycamp sites and found the English one cheaper - www.keycamp.co.uk.

Make sure you learn some French because French hate to speak English and are rude and ignorant when they hear you speaking English.
I went when I was younger and would never go back. It's a kip.
