    Alrite folks.
I have a standard sky sub with digibox in the sitting room. What i want to do is put a STRONG fta box, which has a lnb loop-thru, in a room down the hall.
Can i run the fta off the oringinal feed and loop it back to the digibox? Any length limitations etc in doing this. Also is ok to have 2 f connectors joined in line, as in there won't be any signal loss etc.
    Thanks

    Yes.
Only one box can be used. The Sky box is still on when in Standby and needs connection all the time for updates & keys etc. The loop through is really intended for
    a) Analogue Receiver (which really turns off LNB output in Standby)
    OR
    b) Digital Receiver in alternate location (which really turns off LNB output in Standby).

Get a Quad LNB for your dish.

There is some loss with an inline connector, Usually not a disaster.

Maximum length from LNB to "slaved box" via loop through about 20m to 30m.
