Entertaining Anti-Chelsea Rant

This is of course a very biased article, but given that I've always despised Man Utd down the years, I was suprised to find myself almost entirely sharing the same viewpoints as Unitedrant. I think it's a great little attack on Chelsea and I can't wait for their meeting at Old Trafford in a couple of weeks.

They also cited a piece by Simon Hattenstone in the Guardian from which I picked out a quote that accurately portrays how I now feel towards them...

"I despise the fact that I'd rather Manchester United won the Premiership than Chelsea"

Kinaldo, I'm sure you should know by now or will find out that very few people on this board or any united fans even that I know of pay any attention or have any respect to that tripe that is unitedrant. Its even on a level below taxi drivers shouting radio, otherwise known as Talk Sport!!!

"Lampard played square balls while still pretending that he's not just a poor man's Darren Fletcher"

I suppose at least it shows that they have a sense of humour (unless they actually believe it, which makes it all the funnier)

"Lampard played square balls while still pretending that he's not just a poor man's Darren Fletcher"
How does that that work? Surely Darren Fletcher is a poor man's Frank Lampard? Or Frank Lampard is a rich man's Darren Fletcher?

Quite amusing that the article rants about the boring Chelsea fans. United fans could never be aqccused of such a thing. What was it Roy Keane once said.....?!

A very childish article, the pot calling the kettle black comes to mind. Ive been dissappointed with the atmosphere at OT on many an occassion. There are more than enough "suites" at OT too. Ferguson has been guilty of some moaning and groaning in his time.

I think the author is exaggerating on purpose. Just to get his point across.

I've been in OT twice and I have to say its been laughable both times. You could hear a pin drop on a few occasions.

Actually while we are on the topic, was over at the emirates there a few weeks back. Man whats the story with that ground? No music, no half time show. The crowd disappear at half time, in fairness the bar/snack facilities are top class and q's are very respectable. So if you get back mid way through have time your greeted with a half full stadium and you can hear someone coughing at the other end of the ground. Bizarre place.

But of course. The Schumacher tackle? Chelsea's fault. Zidane getting sent off in a world cup final? Chelsea's fault. Guy Falks trying to blow up the houses of parliment? god dam there is no end to the deviousness of that dirty russian.

I've only ever been to two stadiums that were the size of Old Trafford and had any sort of atmosphere (Barca's and Milan's on CL matches). Arsenal are finding it not as loud with the new stadium, and it's only 60k. The more fans you let in, the less hardcore they get. Chelsea have quite a small stadium compared to Old Trafford, yet it's still very quiet. It's actually worse than Old Trafford, and that's saying something.

As for the article, some things I agree with, some I don't, kinda a pointless article.

Don't think there's anything entertaining about that rant unless you have some deep rooted hatred for Chelski.

    meh

Lol, I hadn't noticed. Understandable though considering how anti-Fergie they are.

What about The Guardian, do they get your attention? I found their little rant to be just as entertaining.

Jose Mourinho has also had a pop at the Chelsea home fans in today's Mirror
JOSE MOURINHO has launched an amazing attack on Chelsea's fans.

The Blues boss hit out after rival supporters in the club's last two home games - 4-0 wins against Aston Villa and Watford - taunted Chelsea fans over their lack of backing for the champions. Mourinho rapped: "Let's start with a song I heard in two consecutive matches at home: 'Four-nil, and you still don't sing'. Why you don't sing?'

"They are always quiet. I think our friends are just behind the goal because they support all the time. I think the other people must be enjoying the game. They have to participate more and be more enthusiastic about the game."

Given that most of their readers are Labour Party voters I'm guessing no.

Pity it came from a disreputable site like unitedrant, now if it came from arseblog it would be listened to.
