For those who didn't see the final episode of Day 5:
Jack get's on the President's helicopter, successfully gets him on his own and attempts to get a confession from him. Jack does not kill the President as he said he would if that happens. "The President's Men" arrive and Jack is taken into custody. President attends sending-off of Palmer, wife cries, goes mad and rambles about how "he did this".

President has his men take her into a nearby hangar, and he proceeds himself. Slaps her, she again accuses him of being complicit (which we know is true, obviously), he attempts to give excuses for what he did. Tells her not to do this again or he'll ship her off to an asylum for the rest of her life. Presient returns to give speech; meanwhile Chloe is playing a recording to the Attorney General I believe, as well as Bill and the other chick.

Recording is of President admitting to being complicit (via his scene with his wife in the hangar; Jack put a recording device on the President during the interrogation). President is then subtly taken into custody following speech.

All seems good, Audrey meets with Jack, "I love you" from Jack. He is then told there is a phone call from his daughter, he can pick it up inside a nearby building. Goes inside, attacked and taken away. Turns out to be the Chinese from Day 4; Jack is badly beaten (the worst I've ever seen him..). Episode ends with a cargo ship (Chinese registered) sailing away (presumably towards China)

Wow, now that seems deeply unnecessary. Anyway, interesting development, looks like
the next day will have the Chinese involved...

    WARNING: Post contains spoilers.

I just meant writing it all out. Could you edit the title to say the thread contains spoilers? Bit annoying if we have to "censor" discussion about the final episode.

Have to say though, I didn't expect the phone call to be his daughter, there was obviously something going to happen. Interesting though, wonder if the Chinese will be the villains for the whole of Day 6 or just an annoyance. (don't tell me though, accidently knowing who the next President is annoyed me enough).

Ha, but it does make for great tv, you have to give it that.

I was hoping it was Kim on the phone, as I'm an Elisha fan!

Day 6 should be a whopper. Not long now till then.

That's where I saw who the next Pres was. Not a good idea looking at a trailer for Day 6 when you don't want to know what happens - but I couldn't resist!

Well I wouldn't be supprised if Heller only lasted 2 hrs or so. There could be a twist.
