I know Neteller came in a while ago but I have been playing vc for the last while because it's already setup. Anyway went into PP tonight and noticed I had a few bob in it. Not much but enough to want it so I said I'll have that in Neteller please. Pinged a manager and asked to get my Neteller details setup. He says I have to clear my balance first. WTF??
I use Mastercard which has no withdrawal options so my 2 options are get them to send me a cheque? or donk it off in blind omaha. Really annoying. Tell me it 'aint so PPP.

I had the exact same problem, they won't budge, you need to have zero in your account to change payment methods, which is pretty stupid imo, something to do with security.
Just today I asked bluesquare to do the same and they have a similar policy.

My advice... stick the remainder on a speculative 10 match soccer accumalator and laugh when you hit your 100/1 shot, then get your cheque.

Dont know if this would work...
You could stick it on a "cert" such as Federer to win a 1st round tennis game @1.01 And before its played you would have zero in your account, and get netteller set up, in the mean time federer wins and you get your money back.
Federer will be a cert, as the only chance he'll get beat @1.01 is if he gets injured and retires, and then the bet it voided i believe.

I had money in my account and switched to neteller. I had to email customer support, who then asked for my neteller account details and told me they'd have to suspend my account for 36 hours. I'd no problem with that, forwarded them my neteller account number and in the end they just set it up no problem without having to suspend the account at all.

The bet isnt void the opponent wins. Also i doubt having funds on a pending bet or being reg'd for any future tournaments would qualify as having 0 in your account.

Go to your local PP bookmaker (just across the road ;) ), withdraw the lot and start again. Remember to bring ID, and it might be wise to ring them first as it saves time.

how did you set up your account origionally? was it with mastercard?

i'm trying to get neteller set up myself but cs say the only way it's possible is if i clear the balance by requesting a cheque for the full amount.

i'd be interested in hearing if anybody else has had their pp accounts set up with neteller without having to withdraw via cheque first..

When did they start this? I used to do it in Laddies all the time till I set up Neteller and they said that that was now my only withdrawal option

Maybe I'm wrong, but I know you can do it with Boyles. I was sure you could with PP also. You can certainly lodge through their shops.

Yeah originally I deposited with mastercard. I only set neteller up with them about a month ago too and as I said in the other post, they'd absolutely no problem doing it.

Maybe they've changed their policy since though.
