weird harddrive problem

    I have a weird problem every so often in harddrive properties my space seems to disappear about 2mb at a time it doesn't seem to be triggered by anything the only way to stop it and restore lost space seems to be to enable quota management for a few hours if I leave it it would run down to nothing I've ran several scans also in safe mode checked disk for errors honesty don't think its a virus or spyware any ideas anyone

    Wouldnt be something stupid like System Restore...

    Do you have any apps that are running lots of logging like say IIS or something???

    Something logging excessively was my first thought but don't think so what do you mean system restore funny how it returns if I set quota for a while
