    Hello all,

This Tuesday at the Sporting Emporium we are holding the last of our Satellites for the Full Tilt Dublin All-Star challenge.
It will be the same drill as the last one so I hope to see you all there.
It would be great to see you guys and girls qualify for the main event and hopefully one of you could take down the title of the European Poker Masters Dublin All-star challenge champion. (Oh and the cash!!!)

    Good luck.

    John.

"same drill as the last one" does that mean you only want those who were at the last one

The GF made me go into this because she got a fortune cookie saying "Someone close to you will win a fortune", so I did and fcuking finished 8th with 7 tickets. (at least we did a deal on the final table that 8 and 9 got 700 each, so it wasn't quite as bad as a usual satellite bubble) but still very annoying, actually thought I played well and only really making one mistake (possibly 2 - might post the hands later, haven't quite made my own mind up yet).

When I get up I might write a full report...

If there were any other boardsies on the FT (think there might have been one or 2) well played and GL in the EPM.

    fcuking lying fortune cookies

I blame my three spells in Mountjoy on listening to what fortune cookies have to say

Hate that, ul. You now have something in common with Eddie the Eagle :)

i made a move with pocket 66's on the button after a seriel raiser raises again.

i push all in and he called with AK... happy to see that but not happy to see two K's on the board.

ul Ste05...nice to meet ya last nite

ul Ste05, harsh to go out 8th.

I got moved table and 3 hands into my new table I attempted a squeeze play..... but as soon as I pushed all in I knew I'd made a mistake. Cut off made it 1100 with blinds/antes at 200/400/50. The next player to act called the 1100 and it was back to me in the SB with 6k chips. The original raiser had a lot of chips, and more importantly a good few 25's which I took as a good sign, probably taking a lot of hands down pre-flop in position. So with that information I insta pushed K2o expecting them both to fold, the original raiser dropped fast enough, but when it got back to the second player I knew I'd made a big mistake. It was a woman I'd played before in the jackpot. She was on my left for a while and I remember her range is not as wide as the average player, especially pre-flop. Also she's a good player and coupled with her strongish hand and my shocking poker face makes it an easy call for her. She called with AQ and that was that... !

    Any idea who got tickets?

BCB - was that you who made the initial 1100 bet?

Not I sir - I decided after going out in 4th on Monday night that I wasnt gonna try again for a ticket.

I played the jackpot instead and had my KK cracked by J9 soooted (He hit the straight and the flush ffs) after I got my 6k in preflop - I am begining to think that KK is quickly becoming my least profitable tournament hand.

Is the event sold out now? Anyone know if there'll be any more sats? Not been able to make any so far.

No more sats as far as I know. I doubt this is sold out though, and I will be surprised if it is sold out when it starts. They can accommodate 140, but if there are 100 I think it will be a good turnout.

There are also people looking to sell tickets they have won, such as Eamonn O'Reilly (5pin5) so if you intend to pay into it then trying to buy one like this seems to be a better choice.
