X360 - Limerick - Firmware Flashing

    Hey there,
    Im planning on picking up an Xbox360 this weekend and was wondering is there anybody in Limerick that does firware flashing??Also do i need to look for a specific drive when purchasing my xbox or can all drives now be flashed?

    They can all be flashed, bar Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L - Rom Version: 0078fk

    *edit* The phillips drive cant be flashed either

    If you do it wrong you could destroy your console.

    Also, you could be banned from live if MS ever get around to bothering with it.

    Surely it would be very easy for them to include something in the next update that would do just that?

    Hmmm...sounds dicey. I use xbox live all the time.

    It would indeed be fairly easy. They could have done it in the last update, but didnt.
