    Hi,

any advice on where to get reasonably priced ski gear - actually already have salopets (sp!) but looking for ski jacket.
Saw lovely one the other day but it was €230 - really don't want to spend that on something that will only wear once a year.

Two great places to go for ski gear:

    1) Pamela Scott SkiWear Store on South William Street. It is near the end of which has Cafe Mocha and Metro Cafe. Everything you need in one shop and it's all bargain prices. Shopped there last year and got good value.

    2) Millets Camping on Mary Street. It's near the end of Henry Street just keep heading to Capel Street and you'll pass it. I was in there on Saturday and bought a Trepass Ski Jacket that has a detachable, reversible fleece within it. It was €150 but reduced to €75!
I also got a nice looking rain jacket/wind breaker. Trespass also reduced from €80 to €30. I was delighted with myself:)

You don't need a 'skiing jscket' to go skiing. I went last year and used my Jack Murphy jacket that I've had for years. Not a bother.
