Future Title Fights ( contains TUF 4 finale spoilers )

Okay so, the TUF Finale was on yesterday and my two original calls to make it to the Title Shot in the Welterweight Division ended up in the finals, Lytle and Serra. Serra ended up winning by Split decision.

I got my Middleweight call wrong, as I had called Cote to win it out at the start but Leuter did an excellent number on him and won via armbar.

Now then, Serra will go on to fight either Hughes or GSP ( I am banking on Hughes to be honest, GSP has given him every reason not to lose, which may have been a mistake and I just don't think that GSP can turn it on for 5 rounds in the way that Hughes can. Don't get me wrong, I like GSP, he is a top talent fighter…unless he is remarkedly different against Hughes than he was against Penn then he will lose in my opinion. However Hughes has publically said he wants to knock GSP out, which may be a mistake if he tries to do so standing. ) and Leuter will go on to fight Anderson Silva.

Now then, how do you think out TUF winners will do? I doubt that Serra will take Hughes or GSP, which is a shame as he is one of my favourite fighters. It really was nice to watch a fight last night where I was happy to see either guy win ( I have been a big fan of Lytle for a long time too, and this was cemented when he fought Robbie Lawlor and two put on, for my money, on of the most entertaining stand up battles in the UFC ). I also doubt that Leuter will take Anderson, but then again I was not expecting him to take Cote.

    Any thoughts?

(( Also, on a side note, Anderson is striking me as possibly one of the humblest and most respectful UFC champs ever? He seems to speak very highly of everyone and does not appear to want to play the "I'm so great" game at all? ))

probably the fact he's not some pumped up jock from the great us of a helps, also he hasnt even defended his title yet.

as far as the title shots go, cant see serra winning against either hughes or GSP (who i hope beats the snot outa hughes, prob not but what the hey)

lutter on the other hand is probably the perfect opponent for silva. id say cote is still wondering how the hell he managed to dominate him so easily and quickly today.

as another TUF winner, was Mike Bisbing not carded to be fighting last nite as well? or is that in one of the upcoming UFC events?

Well pleased Serra ,got a chance at the Title. I would be suprised if he were to beat Hughes. Hes got a tough match there, also with GSP. Either way ,I dont see him winning, even though I'd like to.
