Remote extender for Free to Air Box

    Ok so I have a Strong reciever located above a lowered ceiling and I want to be able to change the channel with the remote.

    Whats the best solution available?

    Periscope or Pyrimad Extender. Or nearly any video sender.. Or fibre optic blutackd to IR sensor..

    Or 2 core sheilded cable and remove the 3 pin IR sensor. Siganl, ground and usually +5V. I've run an IR sensor over 30m of CAT5. Power and GND on one pair and Signal and Ground on a 2nd Pair. Some assembly / experience of soldering required!

    Remote Extenders shouldn't be too hard to get. They're made by a variety of companies, though I tend to like Powermid or Televés. I found cheaper stuff like SLx less reliable.
