Have got to buy two of these little buggers and I was wondering if anybody knows where the best value is. I'd prefer to buy in a store but would consider online if I knew that I was guaranteed delivery well in advance of the festivities at the end of next month ;)

You could ask oven on the Nintendo forum here

I would suggest you try gamestop on Henry street if you are in Dublin. Theie deal on it is €170 for a ds-lite and any game of your choice with it. Which is better than anywhere else for the choice and price it offers.

Also ask to have the screens on the devices checked when you go to buy them. Its possible to have dead pixels on the ds-lite but the best thing is to check it before you take them away. I had to bring back 1 I bought the following day due to a dead-pixel. So online may not be the best way to go if you want to avoid this.

I think GAME have the DS Lite advertised at a 'reduced' price. Dont' know if its actually cheaper than anywhere else though. Will check at lunchtime and post back.

A friend of mine got what appears to be a bargain in HMV Blanch of all places.
Surprised me, to be honest, but apparently she bought 2 PSPs and the guy threw in 2 €50 games for no extra. Might be worth a look.

LUNCHTIME: GAME, Dawson Street - DS Lite Packs - €150 including Madagascar - €165 with a choice of game from selection of 10-15 games.
