    Hi Guys,

The following 2 items are consistently selling for different prices on ebay.com.
They are both xbox live subscriptions but one is always called xbox live 12 month gold subscription and is in a gold package and the other is called xbox live 12 month subscription in a back package.

    Is there a difference??

Am I just being paranoid that there is a catch??

    Thanks

take a look here for the different xbox subscriptions available.
    XBOX LIVE SUBS

The basic package looks pretty useless tbh. Whats the point of getting xbox live if you cant game online.

Yes but the item description on ebay does not say xbox live silver, besides, silver is free for everyone.
I tried to check if there was a different subscription to Gold and Silver but there doesn't seem to be.

I am just curious as to why one sells a little cheaper than the other.
Also there seemed to be more competitive bidding wars over the gold.

I checked the feedback and everyone seemed happy with what they got.

I mean, if the subscription I bought was not for playing games onlilne then I woould leave him crap feedback so people would know there is a difference.

    Am I wrong??

I have no idea. Send them a message on ebay and ask them what it is they are selling. Thats the only way to be sure.

The one that says gold in the description might be selling for more because it is clear what you are getting. The other description is unclear so people are less likely to bid on it.

one is the xbox card and the other is the 360 one
i think they both give you a 12 month subsciption to either service,

just one is in the pre-360 packaging

I bought the black one anyway and put it in on the xboxlive site and everything is fine. It is an xbox gold subscription.
Got it for €16 too :D:D;)
