You are in the sb. All players have 100BBs. Folded to button who limps, you complete with xx. BB raises 1.5x the BB, button calls and you fold.

    Rate the play: 8 votes

    Always bad

    Sometimes good, sometimes bad

Open-limping on the button = always bad. Pretty much anyway.

Making a poll is silly, you should have written the same question but not made a poll. What do you learn when "38% of boards poker forum readers think this play is OK sometimes"? You hide all the useful information you could get from the answer, and are left with the noise.

If it stays at 100% for the bad I would have my answer.
If the results show sometimes good, sometimes bad, there are so many varients of hands that the SB could have that discussion would take, like, foR eveR.

...and I wouldn't have to traipse through off topic info regarding the buttons play :)

Cheers, you lot feel free to discuss, you seem to disagree and I don't wish to stand in the way of a good discussion.
