Playing Pocket Pairs in a STT

Just looking for some advice playing pairs preflop in an stt. When i have a nice stack i usually raise 33's-10's in middle to late position and call 22-44's. I dont really bother mixing it up with calls because so little hands get shown down and by the time they get a read on me im going to be playing shorthanded and my game will be changed anyway.

Unless theres a few agressive players ill probably fold 22's-55's in early position unless its the early stages when the blinds are low and ill call and fold to any reasonable raise.

But im not sure what to do when the blinds are around the 100-200 mark and my stack is around 1500, i think raising a little with anything other than 9's - 10's would be dangerous and if i raise heavy im almost commiting myself with my stack so i just call alot. Trouble is with pairs up to 8's (and 9's-10's) more times than not theres an overcard on the board and if they call my big raise then im forced to throw my hand away to a bet or else get all in.

Whats the best strategy so for pairs up to 10, im happy enough with JJ,QQ,KK,AA playing them but the other pairs i think i might be playing -ev. I play on tribeca mostly so poker tracker cant track my stats in STT's btw.

I just call in the early stages of the tournament as i dont mind losing small blinds if i get re-raised and as i said i dont mind playing them aggressively when i have a healthy stack, its specifically playing pairs when my stack isnt so healthy and the blinds are say 7-10 or 10-15 times my stack.

    Any help appreciated.

    edit:
    i play $20 stt btw

Have a read of this. Most of it is common regarding STTs, but I found some of it useful.

    Blinds 100/200 + 1500chips + PocketPair = open push.

I meant in the region of 100 to 200 not specifically 100/200, i know when im starting to get shortstacked how to play pairs but what would you do when your somewhere im between.

Im in the scenario that if i raise my pair of 8's for example from middle or late position and get a call, then there comes 2 overpairs on the flop and he bets at me, i had 1500 chips lets say, the blinds are 100, i raised 3 times the big blind leaving me with 1200 and if im called im most likely laying down my hand to bet on the flop with the overcards unless i hit trips. I feel raising in this position with my stack isnt going to be profitable in the long run but maybe im wrong and i want some advice on the best way to play in the above circumstances. should i be folding in middle position and just calling in late position if im not willing to raise?

Help is welcomed, especially with the bcoop coming up tonight although i dont plan on being shortstacked:D
