I would welcome advice please. We have a bioclear septic tank, last cleaned out at a cost of €220 in April 2005. I have been told instead of expensive clean outs we can just have the waste suctioned off and refill the tank with a hose to save money ? The electricity costs of running the system worry me, the waste water is pumped 50 metres uphill, the pump is constantly running which must cost a lot of money. Is it feasible to convert it to a straightforward septic tank or is it not worth the cost ?
