    Has anyone taken the reg plates off a Merc C200 before, I cant see any screws anywhere?

    If it's the rear one, there are no screws as such, just rivets. You will have to cut these (4).It's a bit annoying especially if you want to replace 'tired looking' plates.

    It might be held in by the number plate surround, if this is the case you can unclip the end of the surround and the plate comes out that way.
