    We have 33 oop on the turn with a board of K245 rainbow

    the pot is 100, and the stacks are 550

    we check and he bets 100

    given that we have say 9 outs, how do I calculate how often he has to fold to make it +ev to shove?

    Pot size if he folds (excluding your bet) (x) + (1-x)( (pot size if he calls including your bet) - size of your raise)

    Solve for x and its the breakeven point

    So in your case its

    200x + (1-x)((.20)(1200) - 550) = 200x + (1-x) (-310)

    200x + 310x - 310.
    310 = 610x
    x = 310/610 = ~51%
