Similar to the Boards.ie Summer 2006 Playlist, now it's time for a more festive edition.

To somewhat paraphrase the description of the Summer Playlist: essentially this thread will be used collect a playlist of Boards.ie members favourite festive music. "Festive music" being a general term here.. doesn't have to be a song released at Christmas or be particularly festive - simply a song than reminds you of the Christmas period (either past or present).

    Couple of ground rules:

    - ONE song per user. Any further songs by a user will be deleted!
    - Strictly NO comments on other people's selection. and comments will be deleted (or stricter action will be taken if comments persist).
    - NO DUPLICATES - once a song is in here.. pick something else!

    Wiki Entry Online!

I'll get the most obvious one outta the way first, shall i?

The Pogues And Kirsty MacColl - "Fairytale Of New York"

PS - i've increased the size since i've already deleted this entry posted by other users 4 feckin' times!

    Hmm, Christmas, eh?

That being the case, I'm going to plump for "Elf's Lament" by Barenaked Ladies...
