I'm looking for a little help to sort out a prob on my NSR125
The thing is a absolute bi**h to get running in this cold weather.
Even with the choke out on the cold mornings it struggle's to idle over.... I have to keep the throttle twisted back a bit for about 15 mins before it wants to run by itself.......

If anyone has any idea's what i could try it would be great :)

    Thx

Never hold the throttle open when its cold for a start, you'll murder the engine. If the bike isn't starting off the choke, it can really be a lot of problems.
The obvious choice is to bring it to a garage.
Otherwise go for the usual culprits, spark plug, air filter, both very cheap to replace.

Future reference, NEVER touch the throttle on a 2 stroke when started from cold with the choke, just hit the starter and let it heat up. The NSR is the most reliable of the 125 strokers if you just don't do stupid things to it.

    Sorted :)
It was a simple problem in the end.
Turns out it was the pilot screw, myself and a mate we adjusting the idle speed on the carb in darkness, we turned the wrong one first time but didnt notice:rolleyes:
    She's running sweet again.
    Thanks for the help.
