Just after booking flights to Chicago and am on the seat selection option.Cant remember off hand but where at the front of the airbuses is the two seats with loads of leg room and the two tv screens in front of you.Sorry for the slightly mad question I'm just tall and find the seats very uncomfortable.

I think its first two on left as your walking to back of plane

On that diagram it could be e and f in economy

Is it the emergency exit seats you are talking about? I think they are around row 10.

Sounds like bulkhead seats to me. They have small LCD screens fitted to the partition.

Worst of those seats though is you have to keep all your stuff in the overhead locker and keep the area around you clear.

Flying back from NY earlier this year we had seats A and C at the emergency exit. Loads of legroom plus we got chatty with the Stewardess who gave us a couple of free drinks!

You won't be able to select those, they are restricted to allocation on the day of travel.

Thanks for all the help. All those seats are booked or reserved as Tristrame said so took a chance and booked row 11 A & C so fingers crossed they are ok.Might try and check in really early and change to those emergency seats

Yeah you'll have to check in at a desk to get them but the chances are someone else will also be looking for them.
If you get them for the sake of being a few hours early at the airport,it will be well worth it.

Try 13 D & E , they are the first seats behind the galley , they are inthe middle of the Aircraft but have more leg room . They are usually reserved for parents travelling with children in Bassinets , but give it a try .

The problem with seats 10/11 A & C ( depending on config of the flight) is that there is a large protrusion from the bottom of the door which limits leg room , and the luggage factor .

11A and C are my fav seats , they are not bulkhead or extra legroom but they are in a small section between Business and Economy so only four or 5 rows , its like a mini cabin and very nice and normally quiet.
