Right so I just downloaded the RC1 .iso file from the windows site and I have to burn it to a dvd(which a friend is going do I dont have a dvd burner)

Im wondering is there like any problems with using RC1 instead of 2.. I couldnt find 2 on the site and it only gave me a download link to the 1st one have the product key for it and everything

Also I know it will run on my pc.. downloaded that thing to check!

RC1 was meant to be the last pre-release version but they bought out RC2 then, I don't think there is any major differences tbh. Be warned though I had problems getting the ISO to work when I burned it to DVD's, I had to use the upgrade option via mounting the image to a virtual DVD drive.

AFAIK RC2 was only made available to people who signed up to get the early, pre-public release of RC1.

Rc1 is the "ultimate" version which is different from the home version you'd get for free. Im not sure what the differences are tho truth be told but im sure someone can fill you in :)

i wasn't signed up to get RC2, but i still got it off their site.

i think they released it for a couple of days and then pulled it, cause i remember downloading it then cancelling it then downloading it a day or two later
