    Hi,
Im currently lookin at buying a pc around xmas - want to use it for gaming, and music recording. Im looking on the dell website, and have made one up for EUR809, and want to know if this would be a good pc for what I want to use it for.

    PROCESSOR AMD® Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
    MEMORY 2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x1024] Memory
GRAPHICS CARD 256MB ATI® Radeon® X1300 Pro PCI Express graphics card
HARD DRIVE 160GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst™ cache
    MONITOR Dell™ 17" UltraSharp™ Digital/Analogue Flat Panel (1707FP)

Is there anything better that I could get for this price? I only have a laptop at the moment, and this will be my first desktop. I've kind of lost interest in computers up to now, so dont know what specs are the best nowadays.

Also can someone advised me on which is the better processor - the AMD dual core, or the Intel Duo Core?

Any info is appreciated thanks :)
