It's only banned in hand-luggage - same with all liquids. If you have to bring explosives on board as hand-luggage it's best to bring traditional solid ones that they haven't the faintest idea how to detect - like plastic explosives.

If you are diabetic, you can have as much liquid as you like! (nearly)

Honestly! last time I flew from the states (about a month ago), they said I could carry:

    *My Insulin
    *a carton of fruit juice
*a Bottle (not bigger than 1 litre) of water.

Sadly no. They make all this fuss about an alleged plot that many experts think wouldn't have worked anyway, while all the time they haven't the faintest notion how to detect conventional explosives unless they're convieniently cased in metal for their metal detectors to find.

That's why they make people put their shoes through the xray machine. If there's explosives in there the only way they can detect them is if they see a foreign object in your shoe. So don't stick your explosives in your shoe - just keep them in your pockets & you'll be fine.

    The illusion of safety.
