Death Via Satellite is a rocktacular, electro/new wave, indie night that is holding court once a month in Eamonn Dorans, Dublin. The night is brought to you by MENDOZA, Dublin's new-wave/rock/indie/electro hybrid, bringing the best bands to you with minimum fuss and maximum noise, check out our bands tracks above to see whats in store at the next show...

The next show takes place on Tuesday November 14th in Eamonn Dorans where we promise an unrivalled line up, DJ's til late and e3.50 for any drink after 10.30, just because we're that nice... We've already seen the likes of Love Lies Sleeping ( L.A., USA), Queen Kong, alazurussoul, Mendoza, Transit and Kopek play storming shows, and the line up for this show sees a headline set by The Ultra Montanes, with Offshore and A Futurist Theatre.

    THE ULTRA MONTANES
The Ultra Montanes have exploded back onto the scene in 2006 after re-crafting their already explosive sonic arsenal of pounding drums and bass, fuzzed up guitars and howling vocals with the addition of keyboards to the mix, expanding and hardening their sound. This resulted in the impressive and highly successful EP 'Dirty Blood Saved Our Town' featuring Speedwalker and I Don't Care. With a classic album already under their belts in the eponymous 'The Ultra Montanes' (featuring the hit singles Ageing Starlet & Anyway) and excellent new track 'This Party' turning heads all over the city come and catch this band who have really shifted into top gear...

    OFFSHORE
Offshore also hit the stage with a new EP release under their arm, also self titled and available after their show at Death Via Satellite. They draw their influences from bands such as Interpol, The Strokes, Editors and Kings Of Leon, but filter these into a catchy, supremely accessible hybrid that delivers all that it promises and more live, an expansive and energetic show is promised at DVS 05.

    A FUTURIST THEATRE
Shades of early Sonic Youth, Pavement, Dillinger Escape Plan and Mike Patton permeate the soundscape created by A Futurist Theatre. Lilting, dreamy and claustrophobic, they treat their audiences to a captivating experience at each performance and ably kick off proceedings at DVS 05.

Doors at 8.45, admission is 5 euro, DJ TBC and all drinks 3.50 after 10.30.
Get there early for the bands, stay late for DJ's, dancing, debauchery, drinks and Death Via Satellite...
