"Preformed by a German known as “the trainrider”. Before he died from leukemia, he enjoyed the last year of his life by surfing on trains. Included Germany’s fastest Highspeed train ICE with a top speed of 330 km/h(!) No one did that before. Never to be forgotten R.I.P."

This is a problem in Dublin as well, I have witnessed it and thought it was the beer but no it was a teenager standing between two coaches one foot on each on the ledge where the buffer beam is, the technical term for the ledge is the anti climber, hmm not quite the use intended

Only a matter of time before some either gets killed or horribly injured

If you want the speed buzz, go skydiving or bungee

London Underground had to fit their entire fleet with inter-car barriers to stop idiots doing that after some of them were crushed. The space between the tightly coupled carriages closes to about 6 inches on the most severe bends. An unpleasant way to go for sure.

I had thought they were inplace to stop people from falling in at packed stations etc.

It's a strange think to hope, but maybe the ICE surfer knew he was going to die in a year or so?

A foolish and deadly game and we shouldn't be promoting it on a family board such as boards.
