The shop is Gamestop. I'm not sure if any people here have ever worked in a gameshop or know people that have, but I have a few questions:

I got an interview later on today, just a couple of question.
How should I dress? I always figured you dress as you would in the store? They dress with company tshirt and jeans and runners/skater shoes etc.
What kind of questions should I ask them? I was thinking of asking them, what are the main queries they get from customers and are staff expected to advise gamers when only asked or if they are free to do it whenever?

Also, I was just wondering what kind of questions would they ask me? The shop isn't "Game" but I just want some idea.
    Thanks.

    some questions would be

how would you deal with a frustrating, annoying or ignorant customer?

what games/consoles would suit ages between 5 - 9 year olds and why?

game also like to push their branded items so you will likely be asked something like, if a customer wanted to buy a console controller, how would you try to sell the our branded items?

[edit] bah, just realised the interview was today, hope it went well.. [/edit]

    Thanks.

Just ensure you keep it at a professional level. Discuss & address the customer's concerns & resolve if possible, remain helpful, apologise for any inconvience(s), thank them for shopping at your particular game shop. As long as you don't get confrontational with them you're grand! text book.
