Anyone from Boards in Byron Bay

Just thought id post up and see if any other boardsies are in byron bay at the moment.

Im here for the past 5 days and im thinking of staying for the next 2 months. Im on a trial period for a job and am now looking for an apartment.

I bumped into a group of lads from Sligo(from my home town) the other night. I didnt know them but it was a good laugh.

Is the Lord byron resort still there ?

When I was travelling up the East of Oz with friends,we got our "discount" cards or whatever they were and stayed in one hostel,it was in Byron Bay.
One of the girls didnt like the dorm situation and sent us around town looking for somewhere else and we came across the lord byron resort...
We stayed in a family room there and *cough* were spoiled,it was hotels for the rest of the trip

Isn't there a hippy village near Byron too called nimbit or something

yeah Nimbin - and its a kip a few hours is more than enough, most of the people are demented from drugs(harder than the ganja too), personally i just went up for a spin to get a nice big bag of weed and i was gone, cameras all over the place though - although i don't think the cops give a rats
