a memory revisited time again

the rain reflects his face his smile the sun

it's been a year that Ive seen him and conversations ceased
a random song drudges up his embrace
a drink in the dark his laugh
his memory is haunting

there is a distance between us more now than before
though the miles havnt grown or lessened
a beginning was lost
but the possibility still lingers
