RTE on the ball with this resignation, seems they broke the news before SKY news. Im aware there is a thread on this elsewhere but this is on media coverage of it.

Yeah, CNN and BBC where on the ball too; but I think he's already gone, replacement named etc.

As DD points out, there's a politics thread on the political implications of the move, this is for media coverage of the resignation and his replacement
