New Macbook specs

    Ordered my new macbook 13" from apple yesterday, estimated time of delivery was this Friday... It has now been changed to the 24th, more than two weeks away. Initial frustration with the apple.com store has turned to hope, the apple store is offline for updating... Could this mean a new spec for the macbook?

    Its all speculation, but if they've pushed back the delivery by two weeks and the site is down for updating, perhaps we will see an announcement of the Intel Dual Core 2 maybe!?

    This is all wishful thinking, but.... its better than just being frustrated about extended delivery dates. :confused:

    64-bit OS support, bigger HDD, faster Superdrive & more RAM standard?

    Hmm... maybe if I say that the Macbook's successor won't EVER have a proper GPU, it may come true... Sod's Law & all ;)

    Don't tell me the only gpu option is the GMA? So useless...:(

    Well, it can play hi-def video & output to 2 monitors, so I suppose it's not ALL useless.
    Realise that my iBook's only got a 32mb Mobility 9550, so anything would be an improvement ;)

    Still better then the GMA for anything gaming related though...I know alot of people don't use Macs for gaming but its nice to have the option and when you're paying that much it's a bit of a joke to get a GMA...

    My friends Powerbook has a rather nice X1600, I thought the macbooks as well were customisable....
