    Hows this spec?

    Will de watching dvds, divx, movies, playing music through my amp. I dont play computer games though.

    Do you plan watching HD content? If not, its complete over kill in the CPU and RAM department. If you are sticking with those specs for HD I would:

    Drop the WD HD and replace with a Seagate (They are both excellent, but generally Seagates are quieter)
    Drop the remote and get the Microsoft MCE one.
    Also, if you have a slot free, try to nab an old audigy soundcard off ebay. It makes a world of difference.


    TV card is fine.

    i'd bump up that cpu for a high def pc...or even go to a dual core...3200 stuttered trying to play the same file my 3700+ plays smoothly
