Ian Ward has an MMA club in the Bera Hall on Connolly Avenue just beside the canal. Not sure of the times though.

In fairness 3 is very young! Im not sure of any clubs that cater for that young and even if they did I think they might have probs with insurance..?

I take clever little monkeys at 4 years of age. If you'd like to discuss bringing your child down just call me on 086-8151092.

A general rule of thumb for me would be in the new year after starting school. So if your child started school this september and is 4/5 then sometime in the new year would be a good idea.

Just for a couple of reasons, i think preschoolers may be a bit young in terms of looking after themselves. Maybe they're not used to being away from mammy/daddy (however most kids cope fine in montesorri/creche/playschool). Maybe they won't be that experienced at mixing with other kids yet. So a good term in school might bring them up to scratch on playground behaviour. I think starting MA and school at the same time would be too demanding.

I'm neither a parent or a coach so pinch of salt!
