I was buying some dvds this morning and noticed that my €2 voucher codes from the world cup forecast weren't expiring, I used the same one 4 times. Could be something to do with the new payment system. Does anyone know if this is the case with the mac donalds vouchers?

McD vouchers are supposed to be valid till xmas but only availible till the end of the month iirc

Thats cool, but what I'm wondering is can the same voucher be used on multiple purchases at the moment? I've now used the same €2 voucher a couple of times and some of my friends used it too without it expiring.

Actually I've just checked a load of my old voucher codes and they all work again :)
    Thanks OP

Damn it, I knew I shouldn't have removed the expired ones!
I do have an unused €5 voucher though, wonder if I could re-use that....
    Thanks op for the idea.

Actually the pigsback vouchers are expiring but you might get lucky once. I had a 11.99 one that I used a month ago that worked again, but only once. Older ones wouldn't work.

Of course they could cop this and cancel, lol but fingers crossed.

for those who want to retry their old pigsback codes

    https://www.pigsback.com/members/memRewardsCollect.asp

just log in to your pigsback there, and all your old codes should still be in there.

Just proves CDWOW have the shoddiest ordering validation system in the business, not that i'm complaining..

.. only recently have they copped onto people ordering with vouchers from affiliate link pages!

i'd say try it again tomorrow (and the next day if needs be). if you enter a voucher, but dont actually use it, it makes you wait about a day anyway before you can re-enter it, telling you its already used.

Did you figure out why they cancelled your order on a voucher that myself and others continued to use?

You can still get away with this though. Maybe its luck but I think using the same account every time increases your chances of being canceled. I think they allow a certain amount of exploitation with vouchers/links. The easy availability of discounts has made them very popular, I reckon.

No.. never bothered. Not too pushed.. had a spare €5 handy from last time i cancelled my King Kong 3 Disc Edition for the 2 Discer.

Yeah.. i ordered all my stuff in the sale using an affiliate link (£1 off) and voucher (£2 off) and was never caught once but they are copping onto it.

It helps not to sign in to your account if you're trying to "cheat" their system like that.. just make it a once off purchase without registering but still use the e-mail address you have an account with.

Me too, never caught either :D. And after the £3 sterling discount and minus the .ie site markup I was getting almost €5 off, not too bad at all

But seriously if these vouchers and sales don't stop popping up I'm gonna have to get a new shelf. As it is, about 20 dvds are stacked by the tv, lol.

    You're telling me!

The Godfather boxset in the middle on top is the line where 3 DVD racks end i just start stacking them! :D

I packed away all my dvds last week to move and I was frightened by how much money I must have spent on them. 2 huge boxes of them.

At least they're tidy though, squill. Mine are a mess and are mixed in with books and games and everything. I must organize them and get some proper racks likes you have.

For a while I was seriously considering getting rid of the cases and using a DVD/CD album. Think of the space I'd save and also it would stop my room from looking like a video store, lol.

The amount of money spent on dvds is pretty scary alright. Most people have alcohol, I have dvds :D

CdWOW do manual verification checks every few days on all orders using big vouchers so your better of waiting for one to get dispatched then try ordering again rather than tons all at the same time.

Also as already said, use different emails rather than just names and addresses as they can end up blacklisting you for too much voucher abuse and will block you permanently under that address.

I used my €5 MaccyD voucher through an affiliate link which gave an extra €2 off the Family Guy S5 box set. That order is still pending dispatch since Tuesday so I hope they don't cancel it. Ordered two other DVDs at the same time with two €2 vouchers from the footy forecast and they've now been posted.

The two €2 vouchers are still valid in my e-voucher bank too, previously they used to change to expired. All these expire at the end of November anyway so not long left to (ab)use them.

Can you post the link for that off?
