Niall (ocallagh) chopped it up with JBravado off here, taking roughly 1k each.

was a good game! jbravado played very well and was the outright winner from the start of the final table. To be honest i was delighted he offered the deal. I was knackered and heads up involves a lot of work!! 100k vs 63k. Bernard suggested even split, but with the blinds only at 1500/3k we agreed on 1150/950 split (originally 1400/700)

ps: the two of us were chatting about dealer tips afterwards. I gave in 50 (5%) and jbravado gfave in 60 which was just over 5%. what do others think? i heard 10% on this forum. surely that's too high a % for the MTT junkie to afford??

    .

I was discussing this with my friend and we both agreed that he tipped the dealer too much €100 after winning roughly €1000. up to the person really buy 5% sounds like the perfect amount to me

Good game-much more play in it than I expected especially at the final table.
That sick hand at the ft speeded things up a good bit!!

Nice to play with you ocall and would have enjoyed heads ups but fatigue did kick in a bit-was suprised that Bernard offered a 50/50 chop.I thought the deal we did was pretty ok.

In relation to the tip as I got slightly more I felt 60 was fine-I managed to win the silks game last week and gave the full 10% which in retrospect I think was too much. For a pay out like this I think 4-5% is grand.
