Table Tennis

I am now 25, and after spending a year away around the world living in hostels I've come to the conclusion that I could be quite good at table tennis. So I was wondering are there any good clubs/leagues on the southside of Dublin that I could enrole in or are these just dominated by scrawney 13 year olds?

So what do reckon, have I grown to like this sport too late or are there others like me, into the same game?

I do feel table tennis isn't catered enough for adults, however there is a site you could try but again there are no promises. Go to www.meetup.com, you might find something there.

There are clubs all over Dublin playing table tennis the best known probably alssa up at the airport. they do training up there aswell not sure if Fitzgerald table tennis still does the coaching?? very good. Although it is quite competitive and sometimes can be advanced with younger people playing since they were in primary school (me) and if your looking for just a little bit of fun there are tables in DCU and Alsaa that you can just pay and play (€3-€5).

    google it.

    Hi there everyone,

Me and some friends have moved over from sweden and work here around the Dublin 15 area. We all would love to start playing again, some of us havent playing in 20 years (yeah thats me).

I think at first we would just like to play around a bit and see if we still like it as much as we can remember hehe.

Is there anywhere close to say Blanchardstown where we could play? Or would it be to drop by ALSAA and play there? I can't seem to find any info about ALSAA. The http://alsaatabletennisclub.com web site doesn't really seem to be the correct one.

Would be nice to know what days, what times, exact where =) and so on if anybody knows?

Also is Fitzgerald Table Tennis still located at Unit D1,The Bymac Centre,Northwest Buiness Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15? I did a google search and found a daft.ie ad where you can rent that Unit. Just wanted to be sure before I go out there =).

Thanks and sorry for all the questions.
    /c0rn
