There is a Deli/Café opposite the Hunt Museum with a note sticked to the door "Closed due staff shortage". Would you believe it??? There are so many people here now and they close because they can't find anybody working there???? I don't believe it! Especially the many Easteuropeans are willing to do almost every job.

Reading over your post again - well, for a job in a shop good english is essential.

    Last exit for Greg: DELL.

I would have suggested putting an ad in the Post and Leader to teach piano.

If he is up for factory work, tell him to go into Adecco recruitment in town (they are on the 1st floor of No.94, Henry street) and bring some kind of cv with him. He should get a job no problem, even with poor enough english.

Dell/Banta/Sercom are hiring all the time :D

You never heard of Daffys??? That weird Salsa dance place in Catherine Street full of Erasmus kids? Jayzus... It was a panopticum of people. We always had a good laugh about the seriously cool salsa dancers there. Seriously so important, seriously so confident...
