Zone alarm is going nuts, over less then 10mins there is more then 5000 blocked intrusions. It's never done anything like this before. I have reinstalled it and that has not helped and I've run a virus scan and searched for spyware. I have no Idea what’s going on! Any ideas out there? Its up to 7500 as I wrote this!

You say 5000 blocked intrusions but also that you done a virus scan & searched for spyware...so, are the connections incoming or outgoing?
i know it seems like a stupid question, but if they're incoming, i don't know what you could do about that, except maybe talk to your isp.

Were you using BitTorrent at any time before they started?

Nope, I was watching a program! It hasn’t done it since. After I turned it off for a couple of days, it was fine! (sorry for not replying sooner)
