    just an FYI, when you click on Euro as your price:

    "Choose any 3 of these cracking DVDs for only EUR 23.49 !"

    why not just order in sterling and let the bank do the conversion

    dont think play allow delivery outside uk anymore if you order in Sterling. Haavent checked it in a while, but thats how it was a month ago.

    Just picked out about 3 I was gonna buy from Play but then checked on www.find-dvd.co.uk and they were all a little cheaper elsewhere (Blah dvd/sendit etc) by about 50p-£1 but some of the titles there are very good in this deal like The Lost Boys SE etc

    I make it a €1.10 markup. Yes, we are getting screwed.

    The total price is 22.47 when you actually go ahead and order 3 of them.
    So that's an 8c difference according to xe.com...

    didnt even notice that,
    the exchange rates on xe.com are "optimistic" to say the least.
    todays ecb rate of exchange is roughly 1.49 which would make it roughly -
    15 = 22.35 a 1eu 14c difference

    most banks charge about 4% in fees, which adds about 92c onto your exchange
    that leaves you with a 22c difference, or about 15p

    Just noticed that they're all (Euro) 8.99 each, when you buy 3 the price drops to 7.49 each (so that's 3 for 22.47).

    If you add a fourth or subsequent DVD they also go in at 7.49 (rather than having to buy another 3 to get the same rate).

    You're not buying at XE.com's rates .. you're buying at play.com's rates so to quote the XE.com rate is irrelevant to the play.com transaction
