Just watching a repeat of season 2, anybody know when the 3rd series is starting? Heard anecdotal stuff about them filming around town and in portlaoise in the last few months...

Surely in a country as small as this it's time to call time on this one trick pony.

No I don't find her funny, infact I think she is rubbish. I love Naked Camera, it is brilliant, but she ruins it. Not funny at all.

In fairness for the 2nd series they tried different venues (ie outside Dublin) and also added a few random charachters in, I thought it worked quiet well. You cant knock the Jake lad ;)

Id say theres plenty of mileage to be had in small rural towns, it just depends on the quality of the gags, and of course the reaction they get from the punter involved.

I heard they had a ****load of quality gear from the last few series that people werent willing to let go on air :(

I think there is potential for Jake Stephens, he's a great character, I'd like to see him in a sit-com or something where he is the main focus.

As for NC, I enjoyed it, but I think two series might be enough, though I'm sure RTE2 will flog it to death every Monday at 9pm for the next few years, a la Fr. Ted.

Our band played a charity show in The Sugar Club last Sunday and PJ Gallagher did a bit of stand up. Very funny. He also did two songs, the only one I remember was a písstake on Eye Of The Tiger called "Eye of the penis" it was excellent. Must agree though, Naked Camera has lost the original amusement it had, although Jake is a great character.

Can't stand Naked Camera. The sooner its off tv the better.
The original series was ok, but it quickly lost its appeal.
