Just started drum lessons and am speculating over getting a drum kit too. If I save up I might be able to afford a little over 300euro but wouldnt want anything over 400e can anyone suggest anything?

Doubt I'll get it though because will involve a lot of saving and there's not much room in my tiny house :) anyway..

TBH the kit in that link is disgudting, it wil last about 6 months to a year before rusting over and falling apart, haha. Na im jus kiddin but it really will sound horrible. Im a strong believer of the you get what you pay for theory so your best bet is to try and stretch to 3-400 squids and buy a decent kit, new or second hand. All the major brands (pearl, tama, sonor etc) all have beginner kits that will last a long time, speaking from experience. But i know someone who got a performance percussion kit and its lasting well. Prob one of the better cheap brands.
Hope that was of some assistance.

This is fine for a beginner imo. 229 with free shipping!! It wont last years true but its enough to learn the basics and find out whether he wants to keep playing. Then you can splash out some more!

Also I'd get this for the snare with the change from 250 !
