New cars sales figures?

Hi all, is there any place I can get sales figures for new cars? Anytime from 1999-2006? No particular reason just wanted to know what the best sellers were in each class etc. It would make interesting reading to see how much marketing can push forward sales of a car that might not be as good as a competitor.

In Ireland anyway go to www.simi.ie and click on July Stats, Scroll Down and their is a few options.
